Palletising and Conveyor Systems
The Penn RM range of pick and place robots are 3/4-axis units designed for low to medium speed production facilities. The RMS-1 robot can pick the product from an infeed conveyor from any direction and place it onto the pallet. Once loaded the pallet can be removed by the operator and replaced by the next empty pallet.
If required, this semi-automatic pallet replenishment operation can be fully automated with the addition of a pallet magazine and powered pallet conveyor. The unit is controlled by a 4 axis digital control complete with a PLC for all auxiliary functions.
