The new Penn ANFID System provides an innovative solution to ensuring that film-wrapped pallets arrive at their chosen destination secure and with visible evidence of any tampering.

This new patented device can be supplied as an option on all new supplied pallet wrapping machines and is installed directly onto the film carriage device. This feature allows for self adhesive tape upto 100mm wide to be applied to the palletised load during the standard film-wrapping cycle.

Standard PP printed film can be used to not only provide additional security to the pallet but also to add valuable corporate identity information.

On the MID model, the tape application is manual and is applied once the operator presses a button on the control panel. The tape will then be applied continuously until switched off. When installed on the STD pallet wrapping machine, the application of adhesive tape is automatic and inegrated into a new wrapping cycle. With this version tape is applied at the bottom, middle and top of the pallet section.

The introduction of this new feature, unique to Penn Packaging in the UK, was the result of extensive market analysis and discussions with customers who all expressed concerns that pallet security can be a major problem.

The new ANFID system from Penn Systems can now provide a level of visibility to film wrapped pallets not previously available together with providing a much improved security.
